ANJANA AND HANUMAN (CHANDRABANI)

Anjana also knows and Anjini she was the daughter of Gautam Rishi and Ahilya. One story states that Anjana in her past birth was an apsara (celestial) named Punjisthala who by a curse was born again as Anjana.

Anjana was the wife of Kesari. Kesari was the son of Brihaspati. Kesari along with Hanuman fought along with Lord Ram against Ravan.

Hanuman was the son of Anjana. Hanuman is also called Anjini Putra (the son of Anjana).
