Vajra in Buddhism :
Founder
of Buddhism :
Buddhism
was founded by Siddharth Gautam who was a Shakya (Shak) belonging
to Sage Gautam clan. Siddhartha Gautama was born in c. 563 B.C.
or 480 B.C. in Lumbini, Shakya Republic. Suddhodana was his father
and Maya Devi was his mother. Siddharth Gautam's wife was Yashodhra
and they had a son named Rahul.
Since
Siddharth Gautam was from lineage of Sage / King Gautam / Gaudumu
/ Gotama he must have know about Vajra. This is how Vajra entered
into the books of Buddhism.
Sage
/ King Gautam / Gaudumu / Gotama was
brother of Indra / Thor / Adam.
