Chandravansh
(Lunar Dynasty) :
King Pururavas was the founder of Chandravansh (Lunar Dynasty). He founded
Lunar Dynasty in Treta Yug. According to Ramayan and Mahabharat, King
Pururavas was the son of Ila and Buddh. The Important Personalities
were Yayati, Yadu, King Puru , Turvasu, Druhyu and Anu. According to
Mahabharat, Pandav and Kaurav were from the lineage of King Puru.
Shree
Krishna and Balaram were from the lineage of King Yadu. Turvasu's descendants
were Mleccha of Balochistan and Dravidas of South India. Druhyu's descendants
were Gandharas. Anu's descendants were Madras, Kekayas, Sauviras etc.,

4. Yayati was the youngest son of King Nahush. He had 2 wives and 5
sons.Yadu, Turvasu, Druhyu, Anu and King Puru were the 5 sons of Yayati.Devayani
and Sharmishtha were the two wives of Yayati. (Contemporary to Demon
King Vrishparv).

in the Mahabharat :
Characters in the Mahabharat The most important characters of Mahabharat
can be said to be Krishna, the Pandavas, who are Dharmaraj, Bhim, Arjun,
Nakul and Sahdev, the Kouravs, who are a group of 99 brothers and one
sister (her name was Dushila) headed by the eldest brother, Duryodhan;
The important teachers were Dronacharya and Bhishma. Still, many other
characters are there in the Mahabharat.

• In the epic Mahabharat, Ambika is the daughter of Kashya, the
King of Kashi, and wife of Vichitravirya, the king of Hastinapur.
• Bhanumati is a character in the Indian epic Mahabharat. She
is the wife of Duryodhan.

"Bambang Sumitra" is one of the sons of Arjun from his marriage
with Princess Larasati. Bambang Sumitra has 13 other siblings from different
mothers which are; Abimanyu, Bratalaras, Bambang Irawan, Kumaladewa,
Kumalasakti, Wilugangga, Endang Pregiwa, Endang Pregiwati, Prabakusuma,
Wijarnaka, Antakadewa and Bambang Sumbada. His wife is Princess Asmarawati,
daughter of King Suryasmara from Argakencan Empire. His marriage with
Princess Asmarawati did not have enough attention from Arjun. Hence,
Semar took over his wedding ceremony.
Ambika :
In the epic Mahabharat, Ambika is the daughter of Kashya, the King of
Kashi, and wife of Vichitravirya, the king of Hastinapur. She was also
the mother of Dhritarashtra, aunt of Pandu and grandmother to the Kauravs.
Bhanumati :
Bhanumati is a character in the Indian epic Mahabharat. She was daughter
of king Chitrangad of Kaling and Queen Chandramudra. She was the wife
of Duryodhan.
According to the Mahabharat, Duryodhan abducted Bhanumati, the maiden
of the fairest complexion, from her swayamvar with the help of his best
friend Karn in the wake of having been rejected by her. Bhanumati's
mother-in-law Gandhari describes her to Krishna in the following manner
posterior to the battle of Kurukshetra.
Behold, that lady of faultless limbs and slender waist, seeing this
terrible carnage, falleth down, overwhelmed with grief. Beholding this
princess, this mother of Lakshman, O thou of mighty arms, my heart is
torn with grief.

Chandravarma Kamboj :
Chandravarma Kamboj is the first Kamboj king mentioned by name in the
Mahabharat.
He appears to have been an ancient very powerful and renowned (vikhyaat)
ruler of the Kambojs. He finds mention in the Adiparv section of the
epic Mahabharat, where he is stated to be an Asura or a demonic ruler.
Subala
:
He was father of Shakuni and Gandhari and king of Gandhar.
Sudarma :
She was wife of Subala and mother of Shakuni and Gandhari.
Arshi :
She was wife of Shakuni. She was also known as Arsh. She had 2 sons
named Uluka and Vrikaasur.
Vrikaasur :
Vrikaasur (lit.Vrika means wolf and Asura means Demon, who has power
of wolf and demon) was younger son of Shakuni. Shakuni do the yagna
for a protecter who protect his elder son Uluka. As result of yagna
arshi gave birth to Vrikaasur. Vrikaasur was born with a demon Alambhush
who was born for protecting kauravs and was killed by Ghatotkach in
night war. Vrikaasur was killed on 17th day of war by Nakul and Alambhush
was killed by Ghatotkach in night war.
Alambhush :
He was a demon born from a yagna done by Shakuni for the protection
of the Kauravs. He was eventually killed by Ghatotkach.
Chitrasen :
Chitrasen was a character in indian epic Mahabharat. He taught music
and dance to Arjun. He was a Gandharv king.
As Arjuna's teacher :
Chitrasen was introduced in the epic in the Van Parv, as a teacher of
music by Indra. Indra foresaw that Arjun would have to spend one year
at King Virata's palace as a eunuch, during which time he would need
the knowledge of music and dance. He wanted Arjun to be trained by the
king of the Gandharvs, Chitrasen. Chitrasen began his classes soon and
the two also became good friends.
When Urvashi cursed Arjun to remain a eunuch for life, it was Chitrasen
along with Indra who mediated with her to reduce the tenure of her curse
to a single year. Chitrasen was able to achieve this by narrating to
her the story of the Pandavs and the bravery of Arjun.
Dantavakra :
Dantavakra, was the king of Karush according to the Mahabharat and the
Purans. Dantavakra plays a minor role in the Mahabharat.
He was named Dantavakra because his teeth were crooked.
According to the Padma Puran (VI.274.16-7), he was of Chaidya lineage.
According to the Vishnu Puran (IV.XIV.40), he was son of Vriddhasharman
and Shrutadev, who was Kunti's sister. Vidurath was his brother. Shishupal
was his cousin from maternal side. He and Shishupal were the third and
last birth of Vishnu's gatekeepers Jaya-Vijaya. He was an ally of Jarasandh,
Kamsa, Salva and Paundrak, and an enemy of Vasudev Krishna.
At MBh 2:30 he is mentioned as the king of the Adhirajas. Pandav general
Sahdev defeated him, making him pay tribute, he then was re-installed
on his throne. He attacks Krishna who was on his way to Dwaraka after
the Rajsuya sacrifice (which Dantavakra had not attended, to protest
the killing of Jarasandh) to avenge Shishupal, and his friend Salva
— and he was killed by Krishna in a mace-duel. His brother, Vidurath
also dies in the same battle.
