PENDULUM

The computer thinks of a number between 0 and 10. Now hold the pendulum slightly inside a glass tumbler, without it touching the sides or bottom. It may help to shorten the pendulum and rest your elbow on the table.

Ask the pendulum which number is going to be generated on the computer between 0 and 10. If the number is 0 then the pendulum will not move.

The pendulum will start to swing until the ring strikes the side of the glass tumbler. Mysteriously, the pendulim will continue to swing so that it strikes exactly the number of times the computer was going to generate, then it will slowly stop.
